White Trumpet unveils its second womenswear collection for Autumn-Winter 2008/2009 and gives classic garments a geometric re-interpretation. Obsessed with triangles, designer Reno Inchenko of White Trumpet expresses his retro-futuristic slant on fashion. Already spotted for his first collection by Opening Ceremony, the New York avant-garde fashion boutique, White Trumpet continues in a stricter vein with this season’s new designs.

According to the collection’s unique internal logic, each garment is dependent on structural riveting, while triangles of various or similar sizes are integrated and combined. The contrast between delicate and heavier fabrics in tandem with a rigid construction give the pieces a fresh, stylistically consistent feel.

White Trumpet’s Autumn-Winter collection ranges from casual to more elaborate pieces. Enticing mini skirts, wrought t-shirts and sweatshirts, long loose jackets, beautifully tailored straight cut trousers, chic caped coats and drapes all come together to form a simple silhouette.
